This is a new attempt, for the new year, to beat the Motlley Fool Portfolio. We started one back in August 1997 and got thoroughly 'whupped' by the Fools. So here we are back at it again for a second attempt.
THE BEGINNING:
The Bender portfolio begins with the ending of 1997. We sell all the holdings of the Fool Portfolio. The value of the Fool Portfolio on December 31, 1997 was $167,800.46. To sell we place 13 sell orders at $8 per trade which leaves us with a beginning balance of $167,696.46.
