Who Is This Guy?
Jerry and his wife Chris
have three kids, Toni, Max
and Margo,
and two fuzzy critters, "Rose" the wonder dog and "Granite" the
great. When not working at the
University of Wyoming, Jerry enjoys orienteering, photography, hiking,
climbing,
running,
biking, and nordic skiing. He's never been fast at any of these, so
don't
test him. He spent the majority of his formative years aside, atop,
underneath,
and typically at the mercy of horses and cattle in Sheridan
County, that's Wyoming,
mister.
Some Sites Jerry Likes and Recommends
- If you like the outdoors, check out the GORP
recreation pages.
- Jerry and Chris are both active volunteers for theMedicine
Bow Nordic Association, which maintains groomed cross-country ski
trails
in the Pole Mountain region of the Medicine Bow National Forest, just
15
minutes east of Laramie.
- Jerry skis on both the Medicine
Bow Nordic Ski Patrol as well as the Snowy Range Ski Patrol.
- If you also believe that llamas are muppets come to life,
you
might
like the Llama
Web.
Chris, Jerry, Margo, and Max and have gone "llama" camping during the
summers of 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 thanks to the Llama Lease
plan
available from the Lander Llama
Company,
conveniently located near the Wind River Mountain Range in west central
Wyoming.
