Whenever we could, we took pictures of the birds we banded. On 90% of these days the sun was behind clouds and thus made it very difficult to take a good clean sharp picture. Below are some of the dickie birds that we were able to get some halfway decent pictures of. Hope you enjoy them

Male cardinal, they bite very hard!

A very similar bird to the cardinal, a male pyrolluxia. They look like they will bite very hard - but don't.

Green jay - they peck a lot and wiggle very hard!

A very sweet Inca dove, about 1/2 as large as a mourning dove. Adults have red eyes.
